Welcome to Hagalil

Hagalil, the New Jersey region of the United Synagogue Youth, offers high school students the opportunity to immerse themselves in various Jewish and social activities while forming friendships that will last a lifetime.

Regionally, USYers enjoy and grow religiously through our numerous conventions, week-long summer encampment, dances, special programs, an annual basketball league, and so much more.

In addition, Jewish teens may take advantage of USY’s unforgettable summer programs across North America, Israel, and Europe, as well as the annual International Convention.

Et Livnot – A Time to build: Only at Hagalil Encampment

For the first time ever, Hagalil USY will be offering a community service track at Encampment.  USYers now have the chance of earning community service hours during the week of camp, while still not miss any of the exciting events at encampment.  The group will participate in different social action projects in nearby communities.  USYers will be out of camp every day from around 11:00 – 3:00.  All particpants must be entering 11th or 12th grade and registered for encampment.  USYers will not miss out on staying in bunks, Maccabiah, evening and afternoon programs.  Space is limited to 15 people, so apply now!
