Jason Steinberg, Regional President:
In the blue corner, standing in at 5 foot 7, weighing in at 153 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, wearing his classic plain-white-Hains-tagless-t-shirt, while enjoying all ice cream flavors (preferably chocolate fudge brownie), different people of different ethnicities, religion and size and finally, loving long walks on the beach, you have; ….me. Unfortunately, this is no introduction to a boxing match or sports competition, which probably would make me happy, just simply a short autobiography composed by me for you. My name is Jason Steinberg and I am proud and honored to be your regional president. I have attended Solomon Schechter Day School all my life (New Milford K-8, West Orange 9-12) and spent my last few summers sleeping away at Camp Monroe, touring the country and doing community service on USY on Wheels Mission Mitzvah 2005 and most recently, experiencing my heritage and visiting my homeland on Eastern Europe / Israel Pilgrimage 2006. I live in Teaneck, New Jersey, part of an amazing congregation, community, and chapter. I am a member of a loving immediate family consisting of my Mom, Dad, four grandparents and twin brothers who are entering USY as freshman. Life is rough. Obviously kidding, until I begin to mention the aspects of being a regional board member. Actually, still kidding. The board experience is amazing and I look forward to making a difference this year. With that, I intend to help drive Hagalil to new heights and help you have the best experience of your life.
