2.    In 50 words or less, if elected, what do you hope to accomplish as a regional officer?

3.    In 50 words or less, if you could have any famous person on your RGB to help you increase membership, who would it be and why?

Answers:

Rachel Berkow:

1.    To strengthen the zones, bridge the gap between USY and Kadima, and increase our membership.

2.    I believe that we should have zonal events to help eliminate the first-timer fear of attending conventions.  I would like to see more USYers help out with Kadima events. Lastly, I believe as your Membership/ Programming Vice President I will be the right person to reverse our decline in membership.

3.    I would have to choose Zac Efron.  He is of Jewish ancestry, and he would be able to help increase membership.  When he hosts Zonal events, all the USYers would go to see him, and he could advertise conventions.  Also, he would staff Kadima events, which guarantees USY future members.

1. 1.    To show new and veteran members just how fun USY programs can really be.
2. 2.    If elected, I hope to plan with the chapters of Hagalil amazing new programs that entertain every USYer.  Also, I want to see an increase in not just paper membership, but to attendance to regional events.
3. 3.    If I could have any famous person on my RGB, it would definitely be Eli Manning.  Although people doubted his ability when he first started, he improved dramatically and gained many new fans.  I think he would help get lots of new members, specifically Giants fans!
