Jon Hecht, Regional Membership/Programming VP:
I, Jon Hecht, Regional Membership/Programming Vice President extraordinaire, was born in Princeton, New Jersey, lived in Rocky Hill, New Jersey for a while, and moved to Highland Park, New Jersey in fifth grade. I have been a member of the "Chapter of Excellence," Highland Park USY since freshman year. I was freshman rep (in 9th grade if you didn't figure it out) and then I was Mem/Prog twice. Two years ago I served as the SA/TO section head for the Kolenu newsletter, and last year I was a member of Kadima Promotions RGB.
I've gone to Schechter for a loooong time. I went to SSDS of Raritan Valley for grades K-8, and after graduating, made the switch to even more Schechter at SSDS of Essex and Union, where I have been for all of high school. I am addicted to the Schechter High School Choir and Chamber
Choir, and enjoy performing in school dramatic productions.
I play piano and guitar avidly during my free time, and often during time that really isn't free. I also watch a lot of movies.
I am really really really really excited to be your new Mem/Prog VP and look forward to an awesome year of great programs for great members. If you see me say hi, especially if you don't know me. I want to get to know you, and together we can have a great time in USY.
